Terms and Conditions

Last updated: [01/01/2025]

Welcome to Raven Route Logistics. By accessing or using our services, website, tracking system, or digital platforms, you agree to comply with the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully, as they explain the rights, responsibilities, and obligations of both Raven Route Logistics and our clients.

1. Definitions

“Company” refers to Raven Route Logistics.

“Client” or “Customer” refers to any individual, business, or organisation using our courier, freight, delivery, or logistics services.

“Shipment” refers to goods, parcels, packages, documents, pets, freight, or any item entrusted to Raven Route Logistics for transportation or delivery.

“Fees” refers to all service-related charges paid by the Client for shipping, handling, delivery, insurance, storage, customs support, or any related logistics service.

2. Service Agreement

By booking or confirming a shipment, the Client authorises Raven Route Logistics to transport the shipment from the pickup location to the designated delivery destination.

All shipments must comply with applicable local, state, national, and international shipping regulations.

Raven Route Logistics reserves the right to decline, suspend, delay, or cancel any shipment that violates customs requirements, safety standards, transport regulations, or any applicable law.

The Client is responsible for providing accurate shipment details, including pickup address, delivery address, recipient information, package description, value, weight, and any special handling instructions.

3. Payment and Refund Policy

All service fees must be paid in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing by Raven Route Logistics.

Raven Route Logistics may operate a refund-after-delivery model, where eligible service fees are refunded to the Client after successful completion and confirmation of delivery.

Refunds do not include third-party charges, including but not limited to customs duties, import taxes, government fees, inspection fees, storage fees, or insurance policies issued by companies not directly affiliated with Raven Route Logistics.

Payments may be made securely through approved payment methods, including Credit/Debit Card, Bank Transfer, or authorised Mobile Payment options.

Raven Route Logistics reserves the right to withhold or decline a refund where a shipment is delayed, returned, cancelled, rejected, or undeliverable due to incorrect information, unpaid duties, customs issues, restricted items, or any Client-related error.

4. Liability

Raven Route Logistics takes responsibility for handling shipments with care while they are in our custody. However, the Company shall not be held liable for loss, damage, delay, additional charges, or failed delivery caused by:

Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading address details provided by the Client.

Customs inspection, customs clearance delays, border control procedures, or government agency actions.

Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, accidents, strikes, civil unrest, political disturbances, road closures, or transport disruptions.

Shipments containing prohibited, restricted, undeclared, illegal, fragile, perishable, or improperly packaged items.

Delays caused by the recipient’s unavailability, refusal to accept delivery, or failure to pay required duties or charges.

Third-party carrier delays where external transport partners are involved.

5. Returns and Undeliverable Shipments

If a shipment cannot be delivered due to Client error, recipient refusal, incorrect address, missing contact details, unpaid duties, or failure to comply with delivery requirements, all return shipping costs and additional charges shall be the responsibility of the Client.

Refunds are not applicable to shipments that become undeliverable or are returned due to inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the Client.

Raven Route Logistics may hold, return, redirect, or dispose of undeliverable shipments in accordance with applicable laws, carrier policies, and Company procedures.

6. Claims Process

Claims for loss, damage, delay, or service failure must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery, or within 48 hours of the expected delivery date in the case of a missing shipment.

Clients must provide all required supporting documents, including tracking number, payment receipt, photographs, proof of value, delivery details, and any relevant communication.

Each claim will be reviewed individually. Compensation, where applicable, will be processed according to Raven Route Logistics’ internal policy, shipment terms, insurance coverage, and applicable laws.

Claims may be rejected if the shipment was improperly packaged, misdeclared, prohibited, restricted, or affected by circumstances outside the Company’s control.

7. Prohibited and Restricted Items

Clients must not ship prohibited, illegal, dangerous, or restricted items without prior approval and proper documentation.

Restricted items may include, but are not limited to, hazardous materials, illegal substances, weapons, cash, counterfeit goods, stolen goods, highly perishable items, and items restricted by customs or transport authorities.

Raven Route Logistics reserves the right to inspect, reject, suspend, or report any shipment suspected of violating applicable laws or safety regulations.

8. Tracking and Delivery Updates

Raven Route Logistics may provide tracking information, status updates, and delivery notifications for eligible shipments.

Tracking updates are provided for customer convenience and may be affected by network delays, third-party carrier updates, system errors, customs processing, or route changes.

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws of the relevant state within the United States of America, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Where services involve interstate or international delivery, additional federal, customs, transport, or international shipping regulations may apply.
